Gossip girl (p5) - She is very important to the story, because she is the one that tells us the story about the Upper East Side girls and boys. We do not know who she is but she is always present, and she knows everything about everyone, their juicy little secrets that she (gossip girl) will be whispering to everyone, she knows what to wear, when to wear it, who to be with in the right moment, and what to say and when to say it, and we all love her. It seems like she it a very popular and rich girl with a lot of friends and contacts, but no one knows who she is anyway. She always says goodbye in a certain sentence "You know you love me, gossip girl"
Party (p12) - Partying is something they do very often in the Upper East Side area, almost every weekend there is one, that probably is well prepeard and planned by some rich girl or an adducated famous party planer. Everyone wants to be at these parties because all the popular guys and girls are there, maybe even a few famous people. It takes a lot to beeing able to get invated at these parties, firts of all you have to be rich, second of all you have to look beautiful or have special designed clothes, and third you have to know someone that is invited to the party. If you don't have one of these, you can't come. If you have a succesful party everyone is going to talk about it, and you will be the special subject of the week, witch you really want to be.
School (p139) - School is very important to the Upper East Side boys and girls and they are very good at it too, they are very smart each one of them in their own way. It is very important for them to get in to a good school for exempel Harvard and Yale. The story tells us about how they struggles with their own interviews they are on with the principles on each school, and how certain schools have parties that special student are invated to, to talk and get one step a head then other students with the priciples on the other schools.
Best Friend (p244) - Everyone have to have a best friend. Blair and Serena has been best friends' sence a very long time, the dipers i think. They have always been together, never ever have had a fight with each other. But the story is about how Serena comes back to the Upper East Side after have been away for a whole year, it tells us how she went away because she was cheating with Blair's boyfriend Nate. Blair didn't know until Nate told her, and Serena was going to tell her, but she didn't have the chance because she came home that very same day. Blair started a war! They fought for weeks, but then Serena told her something that made Blair change her mind and they became friends again.
Secret (p105) - Everyone has secrets, ones they want to share or ones they want to keep for themselves. Secrets are the juiciest thing you can have in this gossip girl world. Dan came out from the drug-rehab and told everyone he was gay, but they did not get chaotic, everyone accepted it and planned a party for him. He was so scared that his family was going to react the bad way. Secrets means a lot for people and other secrets that is someone else can be wrong. But that is the gossip girl world.
I have chosen these keywords because they explain a lot when you read the book yourself and those words are typical words from the book that repeats over and over again. Glöm inte att kommentera
